Wanted: Model 32 parts

Looking for spoon lever and any brake linkage parts for 1893 Columbia Model 32.

Has anybody made repo castings of the lever or pivot arms?

Also looking for seat post and suitable pedals.

John Grace in Michigan has had some castings made of brake parts: hand brake lever, adjustable push rod, rear spoon and some pivots for other model double diamond frame Columbia hard tire safeties and maybe he can help. He also has a Model 32 with the same braking arrangement you have shown.

John Grace (734) 658-4915 cell or email  JFGrace@peoplepc.com

Sorry I don't have any seat posts or pedals.

I had a complete set of brake parts cast  for John Pinkerton in England about 25 years ago.  I do not remember what year or model it was but was 91, 2 or 3  Still have a lot.  If you email me I will send photos.  They are bronze castings so the levers and pads are not suitable for riding but the small bits are fine.

I am also trying to figure out the thread size for the chain adjusters.

Nothing matches.  It seems they should be 11/32"-28.

Is that crazy?

Also on the handlebars, the little bolts should be 12-28?

Any help appreciated.  I'm prepared to wait as the site seems pretty sleepy.

11/32-28 and 12-28 are both thread sizes you can get taps and dies for, getting bolts might be difficult.  Do you need bolts or do you just need to clean up the threads?

I need bolts.

I have a thread gauge, but it harder to tell for sure when measuring an inner section as opposed to meshing with a bolt.

I've gotten stuff from Victor Machinery, but they no longer stock 11/32-28 dies.  I am not a machinist or metal person, but I can thread well enough.

Any way, I was hoping someone could measure the size and pitch on their actual bolt before I buy or hunt more for the wrong thing.

Thanks

I am in Minnesota.
