Historian for Yonkers Bicycle Club- Nov 19, 1879. The Yonkers Bicycle Club was the 29th bicycle club to be formed in the United States, the 10th bicycle club to join the League of American Wheelmen, and the first to join in N.Y. State. The club then became the Yonkers Motorcycle Club in March 1903.
