Question on selling Replica
« on: November 20, 2019, 10:43:56 AM »
My wife inherited a high wheel bike from an estate.  We've been able to determine that it is a replica Boneshaker from Cleveland, Ohio.

We are trying to get a little more information to put a value on it to sell it.  Also, any thoughts on how to sell it?

I've included a few pictures where you can see that some of the chrome is showing rust and there are a few paint chips as well.  I do know that it has never been ridden by anyone in the family, so I can't even say if it is road worthy.

Any thoughts?  thanks bob

I hope my remarks aren't taken the wrong way, but these high wheels don't sell for a lot of money, you can buy almost the same thing brand new for a low price from Greg Baron.  As for how or where to sell it, eBay and Craigslist often have these listed.  Search on those two sites and you'll probably find one from time to time and you can see what others are asking for theirs and set your asking price accordingly.
