Title: Batten Bicycles

 Hello Wheelmen,      I have been looking for a Batten Bicycle  manufactured in Millville N.J. for 30 years. With the help of Craig Allen and others I have two original receipts and an original head badge. I do have copies of newspaper articles from the period. From memory, the Batten Brothers were in business from 1895-1898. So, if anyone has any information, copies or anything original related to the Batten Bicycle, and is willing to sell, ( Ultimately a Bicycle ) please correspond with me.

Is there a family connection to the name of the bicycle and your last name.

   Mike,   There is a family connection. It is a distant relation. But quite exciting and gives me the drive to continue looking for anything related to the Batten Bicycle.
