I was wondering , are these wheels and tires appropriate to use at meets and gatherings. I bought the a few years ago from Luxlow on eBay. Also, is there a way to get ride of the writing on the side wall without ruining the white on the tire?
If they are not , what is a reliable alternative
Thanks in advance, Mike

I am a member, had been for years , but nothing was going on in Texas during that time, so I lapsed out. Decided to give it another try, hopefully there will be some events that are close coming up in 2020.

Back in 2002 , some living history buddies and I did an event at Buffalo Gap Historic Village bear Abilene, Texas. It was called “Horses to Horseless Carriages”.
The event was great, but shortly after that , I started to liquidate my bikes as there were no events going on in Texas. Sadly, the first one to go was the restored 1891 Victor Hard Tire Safety.....I’ll never afford another one!
But recently , I took stock of what I have and am going to finish some long term projects and HOPE I can find some events within striking distance. I have already begun upgrading my 1896 Crescent and I have everything I need to finally finish the Harley...basically just putting together and painting.
If anyone knows if ANY events in Texas or the surrounding states, please let me know,
Thanks, Mike
PS ....that’s my 1936 BSA M20 ....still going with one kick!
