Hello Wheelmen,
Thanks for adding me to the group again!

I am currently looking for any information about the 'Matchless" highwheels that were sold between 1881 and (circa) 1890 by the Bicycle and tricycle supply association, a firm of former Coventry Machinists' Co (CMC) frontman Nahun Salamon.

They were unique for their rubber suspension saddle, handlebars and hubs.

Until c 1887 they were built by Singer, the last models were built by CMC. Anyone who has information about Nahum Salamon, or articles and ads  in contemporary American newspapers, magazines or folders, please contact me. Especially the period around 1886-1890 is very interesting.

We have some loose end before we have this story completed and it will tusn into a wonderful article about this Rubber Cushioned highwheel bicycle.

Thanks a lot ,
