Title: Maiden voyage of the 1904 Century Marathon
Post by: rusty_apache on September 06, 2018, 02:07:30 PM
I went down to the Pearl this morning for breakfast at bakery Lorraine. The Pearl is a repurposed brewery that has lofts, shops, the culinarily Institute of America and restaurants. I used to fit steam pipe there many years ago.
I stopped for a photo at some old shrine on the way home.

It turns out that the southern reach of the riverwalk is definitely navigable on an ordinary. I look forward to riding it on one soon!

The Alamo, San Antonio, Texas.
The River Walk has a interesting history of how it came to be.
