Unknown HTS
« on: September 05, 2018, 11:04:46 AM »
I finally gave in to temptation and am in the process of acquiring a HTS from Mr. Cates.

He informed me that it is missing the steering neck clamp/nut.
Does anyone have one laying around or possibly photograph one that is in use?

He did sell me a  new block chain for it, and indicated the grips are wrong, so I’m going to need to know what pedal rubber and grips are acceptable for this example.
It has holes for a head badge so if possible I would like Any clues as to who manufactured it. I will take detailed photos whenever it arrives.

I have never seen such an asymmetrical tangential lacing pattern.
Is it a clue to the origins of this example or was it the work of someone who wanted to try something different. The slotted cranks were used on some English HTS so maybe it is English? It almost looks like the cranks and pedals belong on an ordinary....
