Direct from Copake. The Swap meet is on the 26th.

We are postponing our 29th Annual Bicycle Auction until June 27th due to current circumstances. We get people that travel from all over the globe for this event and feel it’s the best move for consignors and customers. The good news is our catalog is almost finished with over 850 lots including some of the best material we have offered in years; also the catalog will be online approx. 6 weeks before the auction which will gain great exposure for the auction. Thanks for your cooperation. We look forward to the event and wish you all the best.

Those are not rivets they are the spoke heads. 
If Craig or Carey can’t convince you it’s a lost cause. I’ve been buying, selling and collecting for over 50 years and if I were to have interest in another Star I would consult with Carey or Craig on what I’m looking at.
Where are all these “Antique Bike Stores” you keep referring to?
Put it in the Copake auction or on eBay and take what you get. Good luck!!

It is most likely a one piece item that just screws (actually like a small bolt) on or off the hub. I have had some that screwed or bolted onto a guide on the inside to flow the oil to the bearings.  To add oil just push in on the center part. It’s a spring loaded ball. Hope that helps

I have tried to get in contact with Stephen Hartson for back issues of the Wheelmen Magazine.
Sent email Dec 6, called and left message couple weeks after that then mailed in an order form January 6th. Haven’t had a reply to any form of contact. Hope he is well?
Need issues # 82,83,84 & 85. Must be originals and excellent condition at a minimum.

Might look at Northerntool.com site. Several solid tires available under flat free spoked wheels. Not sure of the size you need but smallest I saw was 8”

If you’re talking about the bottom bracket being able to slide to adjust chain tension I would think early 1890s.
