Title: WTB cranks for an '85 / '86 Columbia Light Roadster
Post by: DelombardR on January 28, 2019, 01:49:26 PM
A newish Wheelmen member is in need of cranks for an '85 / '86 Columbia Light Roadster.
Does anyone have a pair (or one?) sitting around?

Asking for a friend.

Dick

I have a pair of 1885-1886 Columbia cranks that are for sale and are what you are looking for.
These cranks are a bit harder to find since they were only made the two years of 1885 & 1886 having the backside serrations on each side of the slot and matching washers for anchoring the pedal axle. This serrated style was used as a transition from the earlier 1879-1884 Columbia straight smooth backside slotted cranks and they preceded the smooth backside three overlapping hole cranks Columbia used from 1887-1892.
